Got to meet a rescued mini pony named “Prince ” on Fox 8 Noon News — it’s ahead of July 9th annual fundraiser for Greater New Orleans Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center. It’s the “Rock Ride and Rescue ” event at the Rock n Bowl . Prince and many other rescue horses help many local and adult kids daily through the program

Always fun reporting from the New Orleans Mercedes Benz Superdome . It seats close
to 77, 000 people . It’s home for the Super Bowl Champions New Orleans Saints but over the years it’s also hosted events featuring some of the biggest names in the world in entertainment, sports , politics and of course Mardi Gras events.

She is awe inspiring . One of my favorite News stories of the year : my profile on Ally Mahesa who was left paralyzed after back to back car accidents. Inspite of the odds against her – the single mother who is also a law enforcement officer – persevered and pushed beyond her paralysis to learn how to walk again – and then kept going with her rehabilitation to become an award winning body builder .

The production was a sell out this past Oct 15th, featuring dancers under
the artistic direction of Carolina Zokalski and Diego Di Falco at 8 p.m. at
Freda Lupin Memorial Hall”, NOCCA-New Orleans Center for
the Creative Arts, 2800 Chartres Street.

I was fortunate to be Emcee for the event, and a great opportunity to
witness some of the rich culture of Argentina dance.

It was a packed house at the Audubon Tea Room this past Sunday evening
with Fox 8 Anchor Liz Reyes as Emcee for the dinner.

The event was very sucessful and raised thousands of dollars for
the Seelos Center.
